Mac OS X/AD Integration by Dan Sinema, Apple Inc.
Integrating Mac OS X into existing Active Directory infrastructures is becoming easier and easier. There are a number of technologies built into Mac OS X that allow for relatively easy integration with Active Directory, including Loginwindow authentication, User/Group/Computer management, mobility, etc. There are also some third party solutions that provide specialized and more advanced features. We briefly explore the options available to Mac OS X users for integration into Active Directory environments.

AD integration in a mixed environment

Dan Sinema has worked for Apple since 2000 as a Sr. Systems Engineer in Education. For a brief time he was covering K12 and HiED in Utah, currently he covers Higher Education in Utah and Southern Idaho. Previously he worked for Alpine School District as the WAN administrator.
