Requirements

  • Mac OS X 10.3 - This version of ULabMin is tailored for Mac OS X 10.3. A lot of the 10.2 stuff has been left in the scripts, but 10.2 compatibility is not tested or thought about much.
ULabMin requires some free applications and scripts. Here are the links to the original websites. Please download these and install them in their default locations (except Screen Preserver, which doesn't have a default location).
  • Menuversum - Note, the developer does not have a Panther working version on his site. A Panther version of Menuversum is included in the ULabMin package installer (so you don't need to download it).
  • ncutil 2.x
  • Radmind
  • iHook
  • Screen Preserver - There currently is no Screen Preserver webpage. It is by RSUG, er, Andrew of RSUG, same guy who wrote Radmind Assistant and iHook. Screen Preserver is included with the ULabMin package installer.
  • SecureIt
  • GetFileInfo and SetFile (both of these are part of Apple's Developer Tools)
  • hping2

The scripts listed below are older than the versions available in the CVS repository. These scripts are provided mainly for reference purposes. It is not recommended that you install ULabMin by downloading the individual scripts. This is nearly everything that is installed by the ULabMin package installer. This does not include the security files (/etc/rc etc).
