What sort of user interaction, including reboot, is required when applying a loadset?

It depends on your policy & environment, and type of overload that is being applied to the client. If it is a minor loadset like non-system software (e.g., the Fugu a SFTP application) then usually it doesn’t require reboot. If your loadset is touching system level areas of the file system, it is safer to reboot. If you are scheduling your client updates off hours, it might be simpler to reboot for all updates. Or if you want you can add a GUI with scripting to warn the user if the update will require a reboot. So, if the user is apply Fugu it will not warn user, but if it is apply overload that touches system area's it will warn user before applying overload to client.
