Introduction

This page contains directions to the Marriott Library Multimedia Center where the SCL Mac Support group is located and where the monthly Mac Managers Meetings are held.

Getting to the University of Utah

From the Salt Lake International Airport
Take I-80 East approximately 1.5 miles to the North Temple exit. Follow North Temple approximately 3 miles to State Street (one block beyond the Mormon Temple). Turn right on State Street, and go south 5 blocks to 400 South. Turn left, proceeding east on 400 South for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the University of Utah campus.

From I-15 northbound
Take the eastbound 600 South exit. At State Street turn left, proceeding 2 blocks north until you reach 400 South. Turn right, proceeding east on 400 South for approximately 2 miles until you reach the University of Utah campus.

From I-15 southbound
Take the eastbound 600 North exit. At 300 West turn right, proceeding approximately 1.5 miles south until you reach 400 South. Turn left, proceeding east on 400 South for approximately 2 miles until you reach the University of Utah campus.

Getting to the Marriott Library

400 South becomes South Campus Drive at the University Street intersection. This intersection is best marked by the Rice Eccles football stadium. Continue to travel east on South Campus Drive past the stadium until you reach the stoplight. At this intersection turn left.

The first building on your right is the Social & Behavior Sciences Tower. The next building on your right (the white slab-sided rectangular structure) is the Marriott Library. If you continue, you will pass a short term metered parking lot and then you'll reach the general pay lot.

Getting to the Multimedia Center

Enter the Marriott Library through the West Entrance. It is located near the University Bookstore. Once inside, walk past the Circulation Desk and the Gould Auditorium to the back of the entrance hall. To your left is the Multimedia Center where SCL Mac Support is located.

Straight ahead from this location is a corridor leading to the Multimedia Center teaching rooms and computer labs. Head down this corridor until you reach the third and fourth doors on your left. This is room 1725 where the Campus Mac Manager Meetings are held.
