Leopard Dock

One of the big visual complaints that has plagued Leopard is the new dock ...

Luckily you have a plethora of options:
Or you can just have the side style dock (which I find sufficient and unobtrusive)
  • In terminal type:
    • defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES
    • killall Dock

OS X Client 10.5.1

Highlights
  • Airport 802.1x issues; saved passwords etc.
    • My laptop continues to have issues even after the patch
  • Firewall security updates; code signing of third party applications; rewording of firewall settings
  • The highly publicized Finder data loss bug fixed
  • The not so highly publicized "core data" data loss bug still at large ...

OS X Server 10.5.1

Highlights:
  • Open Directory
    • Added non-ASCII username support
    • Addressed intermittent password server errors
  • Netboot
    • Addresses issue in which 10.5.x-based software images could lead to unresponsive net boot clients
  • SMB File Service
    • Addressed issue in which Windows clients misinterpret ACL settings

OS X Client 10.4.11

Highlights:
  • Includes Safari 3
  • Improves VMWARE Fusion support
  • Improves USB hard drive / flash drive support
  • Improved AFP Bonjour support
  • Improved AFP Kerberos support

OS X Server 10.4.11

  • Membership issues for users in > 16 groups
  • Registering servers on the local network via Bonjour
  • ACL access using chmod
  • Memory panic bug for 2GB and 4GB configurations

Aluminum iMac Freeze

German iPhone Legal Issues

  • Germany's legal system granted a preliminary injunction against T-Mobile
    • Exclusive contracts a no-go in Germany
    • Phones must be allowed to be unlocked and unlocked versions must be available
    • T-Mobile will sell unlocked iPhones for: $1,470
