Introduction

This class will discuss the process of switching to Mac OS X from  other operating systems. This will include a look at Mac OS X from Windows, Classic Mac OS, and UNIX perspectives.  Discussion will include comparisons of the interface and fucntionality of each to Mac OS X, with an eye toward interoperability.  Some of the specific topics discussed are: One-button mice, keyboard shortcut comparisons, changes from Classic Mac OS, and integrating Mac OS X into a mixed-platform environment.
