Podcast Produceris a complete, end-to-end solution for encoding, publishing, and distributing
high-quality podcasts. Ideal for employee training, lectures, presentations — or whatever audio or video podcasts your organization requires — Podcast Producer simplifies the process of recording content, encoding, and publishing podcasts to services like iTunes U, YouTube or campus Web and streaming servers.
In this LIFT Forum session, Richard Glaser will provide an overview of Podcast Producer. He will
discuss software and tools options for capture like Web and iPhone interfaces, 3rd and open source encoders like Episode Podcast, VLC and Handbrake. Details will be provided of the J. Willard Marriott Library project, classroom implementation and future plans, and demonstrations.
Podcast Producer is being implemented by many institutions like MIT, UC Berkeley, Stanford
School of Medicine, Penn State, Oxford University, etc.
