This section documents University of Utah projects or classes that have utilized OS X applications in facilities supported by Student Computing Labs. For each project, Student Computing Labs staff has adapted some or all of the techniques learned and developed during its OS X deployment in order to fulfill the specific user requirements.

In April 2002, the University of Utah School of Medicine's Office Diversity & Community Outreach sponsored a series of workshops for Native American high school students. One of these workshops required the use of our largest Mac teaching lab using Mac OS X.
For the 2002 Fall Semester, the University of Utah College of Fine Arts offered "3D Computer Dynamics and Motion", a computer graphics design class developed around Alias/Wavefront's professional 3D production application, Maya.
