If you are trying to run the radmind tools or Radmind Assistant and you get an error like...

500 No access for client.hostname

First, check the radmind server config file...

/var/radmind/config

Make sure that your client is correctly identified, either by certificate, hostname or IP address and that what you have in radmind config file matches with what the client is configured.

For more detailed, info check the system.log or console.log on your radmind server. For example, if my client wasn't properly identified in the radmind config file. I would get this error on the client...

500 No access for client.hostname

But, would get the following error in the radmind server system.log

host not in config file: client.hostname
